Short cv
Dr Kirytopoulos A. Konstantinos holds a PhD on Project Risk Management attained at the National Technical University of Athens (2003) and a Mechanical Engineering Diploma (Bachelor plus MSc equivalent) attained at the same University (1999). He has achieved the business certification PMP® from the Project Management Institute, USA.
He is specialised in Project Management and Risk Management and he has attended numerous relevant seminars in Greece and abroad. His main research interests include but are not limited to Project Management, Risk Management, Investment Analysis and Entrepreneurship. He is working as an Assistant Professor at the Financial and Management Engineering Dept at the University of the Aegean (Greece), while he maintains close cooperation with the Sector of Industrial and Operational Research of the National Technical University of Athens (Greece). Apart from the Academia, he has delivered in-house lectures to middle and senior management staff and has worked as a free-lance consultant. He has been involved in research and business projects, related to project management and risk management and he has a series of published research in international scientific conferences and journals.
His main professional goal is to diffuse project management disciplines in Greece and Balkans, as well as inspire people to use it, not only in order to achieve business but also their personal goals.
At the University of the Aegean – Financial and Management Engineering Dpt. curriculum, he teaches Project Management (5th semester – compulsory), Risk Analysis (9th semester – elective) and Business Game (10th semester – elective) while at the F.M.E.s Masters program he teaches Project and Risk Management.
At the National Technical University of Athens – Mechanical Engineering School curriculum, he had been teaching Project Management (8th semester – elective), Production Scheduling and Control I (8th semester – compulsory), Occupational Safety (8th semester – elective), Operational Research Lab (9th semester – compulsory), while at the Masters program "Athens MBA" (NTUA in cooperation with AUEB) he teaches Project and Programme Management.
At the Democritus University of Thrace - Postgraduate Course: System Engineering & Management he teaches at course S3 - Risk Management.
